Here is a short tutorial on the basic operational amplifier (op amp). The basic op is a leading and linear and active day for modern-day analog circuit applications.
The device consists of a complex array of transistors, resistors, diodes, and capacitors, all built into one single tiny silicon chip. These devices are high-gain dc amplifier circuits used to perform a variety of mathematical operations, including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, integration and many others.
