We’ll discuss the graphing of linear lines for two variables.
The objectives are:
(1) To determine whether an order pair is a solution to a linear equation
(2) Given a linear equation, find the ordered pair as a solution
(3) Learn to graph the linear equation, y=mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept and (x,y) is an ordered pair. The equation is commonly known as the slope-intercept form
(4) Learn to graph the linear equation of the form, Ax+By=C, where A, B, and C are constants. The equation is known as the standard form.
(5) Solve applications involving linear equations.
