High Tech for High School Students

This is a short one…

During January 2010 , I gave a talk to high school students at a conference entitled, “The Framework for 21st Century Learning”. I had a technology session with a title given as “Advances in Technologies and How They Will Impact Our Daily Lives”.

During the two one-hour and 15 minute presentations, I introduced topics in GPS, Nintendo wii, and Robotics using interested videos in YouTube. The students also got to play and experiment with numerous Physics simulations. To help the students locate the simulations, I used my website having links to educational simulations and resources found at http://www.FreedomUniversity.TV/HighSchool/2010.

The presentations went well and the students were engaged.

I hope you find these resources helpful for learning and teaching as well to get high school students excited in engineering.
